Eyes are the most vital organ in the body. Eyes function to help us see and identify objects. There are some vision problems that preen the eyes to do the job properly. Some of the eye problems are myopia, hyperopia, conjunctivitis, cataract, astigmatism, glaucoma, sty, infection and tumors. Realizing that the eyes may suffer from the conditions, we should always take care of the eyes.

The eyelids blink can clean the eyes and keep the moist of the eyes. Tears are also important for the health of the eyes. They can wash dust, chemicals, germs and other things to enter the eyes. Moreover, they also control the microorganism in the eyes. When you experience dry eyes, the tear gland doesn’t produce enough tears. Dry eyes mostly occur to older people. Dry eyes can be caused by some medications. Meanwhile, they can also be caused by hot, dry, and windy weather. The other causes are menopause, thyroid conditions, and lack of vitamin A. Those who are suffering from dry eyes will feel itching, burning, irritation, discomfort, and redness of the eyes.

The treatment for the dry eyes is based on the cause of the problem. Older people may need artificial tears two or three times a day and also an ointment in the night to get rid of the problem. You can also drink plenty of water and blinking eyelids frequently can also prevent the eyes from dry.

The Advantages of Fruit Juices

This is bad news for people who do not like to eat fruits. There are many advantages that we can take from fruits. Fruits have so many nutrition and vitamins that can make the body stronger and healthier. Many varieties of fruits even make them richer of having nutritious element that can be used by our body metabolism. So, it is a good decision to start eating more fresh fruits.

Many diet programs recommend us to change rice or bread with fruits and vegetables. This is simply because of the high fiber content of fruit and vegetables, and low calories and carbohydrates that can make our body fatter. Fruit juice such as tomatoes, carrots, orange, avocado, apples, grapes, bananas give different nutrition to our body. Orange, tomatoes, and apples will supply vitamin C to protect us from many diseases. Carrot Juice will give more vitamin A to make our eyes become healthier. Guava juice can give us nutrition to supply more hemoglobin to our blood.

From those good things above, you need to reconsider about your decision of hating fruits. You have your own choice, to prevent disease using fruits or to recover from disease using medicines. It is all up to you!

Staying Up All Night Is Not Good

Many busy people like to stay up all night because of the over work, too much tasks to do, or only for fun such as playing games or chatting with their friends. Basically, stay up all night in low frequency will not disturb your health condition if you also consume enough water and food, and after you stay up all night you can sleep to pay the all the sleeping time that you have used. But when stay up all night makes you forget to sleep and not drinking enough water, it may cause serious problem for your health.

Staying up all night is not recommended if you do it for nothing, since it means the same with forcing your own body to keep working on and on. Your body also has limitation and need some rest after some hours working. One of the research said that one hour that we take from our sleeping time, should be paid back with two hours sleeping.

You must avoid stay up all night too often. If you have so many things to do, you have to arrange your time better, so that you do not have to take your sleeping time. Indeed, it is all about your time management.

Quit Smoking from Now

There are many efforts from the government and social foundation to make people stop smoking. They use advertisements, warning box, picture of the effect of smoking on cigarette’s box, and high price of cigarettes. Apparently, those methods cannot fully make people realize how important their health is, in opposite smokers usually said that this is their body, so they have full right to use it, and they also said that smoking is a need not a habit for them.

Well, those sayings make everything becomes more difficult, doesn’t it? Let’s try to see from the view of people who stop smoking and see the cause of it. The strongest cause for people to stop smoking is someone that they love or their surroundings. They do not want to affect those people that they love with the smoke and other dangerous things from the cigarettes. So, the task to ask smokers to quit smoking is their own closest people, such as friends, wife, girl/boyfriend, children, and parents.

So, if you have friends or close people who still smoke, it is also our responsibility to explain to them about the dangerous effects of smoking for the people around them. Explain it slowly, so they will understand by themselves.

Stop Negative Thinking

Do you believe that your positive thought can also affect your health? Believe it or not, there is a research that many positive people live healthier than other people who have internal vulnerability or people who always paranoid about their weight program. This research showed that many positive people have involuntary and positive response from all the things that they experience with other people.

Negative thinking brings us to think about other negative factors that might occur in the future. It will be a good thing to estimate since we can prepare for the bad things that might happen to us. But it will bring more disturbances if we are too focusing about the negative things of everything, because what we will do and think is only the negative factors of everything. This is why we need to limit how we think about something negatively, so that we can see everything clearly and find the best solution of the problem.

We should change the habit of thinking negative, but it is also right that in some way we need to know the negative side to be ready when something bad happened to us. Let’s start to make an effective positive way of awareness, so that we can act like normal people, but we can also be ready for everything that may happen, without showing about our curiosity or suspicions.
