Sleeping Disorder

Many people in this world are suffering from sleeping disorder. In fact, around forty-million people in the United States are suffering from chronic long term sleep disorders and around twenty millions have occasional sleep disorder. There are three types of sleeping disorder and one of them is insomnia.

Insomnia is the most common sleeping problem occurred. Insomnia is inability to fall asleep. People who are suffering from insomnia will get disturbed in the daily life because of the lack of sleep. The deficiency of sleep will make someone feel tired in the next day that it will influence on their performance. There are some factors causes the insomnia such as excessive intake of caffeine or alcohol, stress, and other diseases. The danger of insomnia is not to the lack of sleep rather than the effect to the immune system of the body.

There are three types of insomnia that are predisposition, precipitation, and perpetual. Someone’s characteristic is the predisposing factor that leads to insomnia. Meanwhile, certain events are precipitation factors that cause the disturbance in sleeping. Furthermore, behavioral patterns that cause insomnia such as irregular sleep habits or intake of drugs. The other factors that result in sleep disorder are alcohol abuse and heavy smoking. Meanwhile, the treatment for insomnia can be in a form of psychological methods and medications.
